Privacy Policy
Last updated 10 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or get in touch with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over it. We have written it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, because a privacy policy nobody can read is not much of a policy.
1. Who we are
PracticeYield™ is a trading name of Persia International Trading Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 10029930. Our registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Persia International Trading Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, email hello@practiceyield.co.uk.
2. What this site is, and what it is not
This website is aimed at the owners and managers of private dental and healthcare practices. It is a business to business site.
We do not collect patient information through this website, and you should not send us patient information by email. Where we handle patient data as part of a client engagement, that is covered by a separate written agreement with the practice, including a data processing agreement where one is required. This policy covers the website and general enquiries only.
3. What we collect and why
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us | When you book an intro call or email us | To arrange and hold the call, and to reply to you |
| Your practice name and details you share about how it operates | During enquiries, calls and any work that follows | To understand whether we can help, and to prepare for the conversation |
| IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time | Automatically, in our hosting provider's server logs | To keep the site available and secure, and to diagnose faults |
We do not buy personal data from third parties for use on this website, and we do not ask you to create an account.
4. Our lawful bases for using it
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for each use of your information. Ours are:
- Legitimate interests. Replying to your enquiry, arranging and holding calls, and keeping this website secure. Our interest is in running and marketing a business, and we balance that against your rights.
- Contract. Where you become a client, to carry out the work we have agreed.
- Consent. For any optional cookies and for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation. Keeping business and accounting records for the periods the law requires.
5. Cookies and tracking
We do not currently set any cookies of our own, and we do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking on this website.
The typefaces this site uses are served from our own server rather than from a font service, so displaying the page does not involve a third party. One third party service does load as part of the page, and it receives your IP address as a result:
| Service | What it does | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Cal.com | Powers the booking window behind the "Book an intro call" buttons | Your IP address on page load. If you open the booking window and book a call, also your name, email address and chosen time |
What is coming. We plan to add website analytics, and possibly advertising measurement tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, so that we can see which pages are useful and how well our advertising works. These set cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to function.
UK law requires us to ask your permission before setting cookies of that kind. When we add them you will see a consent banner, nothing non-essential will be set unless you agree, and you will be able to change your mind later. We will update this policy at the same time.
6. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We use a small number of service providers who handle information on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions:
- SiteGround. Website hosting and business email, including server logs.
- Cal.com. Booking and scheduling for intro calls.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, by a regulator, or by a court.
7. Where your information is held
Some of our providers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards permitted by UK data protection law, such as the UK extension to the EU to US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement together with any additional measures that are needed.
8. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become work. Up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Client records. For the length of the engagement, and then for six years, to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
- Server logs. For the short rolling period our hosting provider retains them.
9. Keeping information secure
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to our email, booking and hosting accounts is protected by strong, unique passwords and two factor authentication, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system can be completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information and to keep the number of places it is stored small.
10. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete information, where there is no good reason for us to keep it
- ask us to restrict how we use it while a concern is resolved
- object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests
- ask us to send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To exercise any of these, email hello@practiceyield.co.uk. We will respond within one month, and we will not charge you for it in normal circumstances. We may need to confirm who you are first.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so that we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator:
Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

12. Children
This website is aimed at business owners and managers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about anyone under 18 through it.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever what we do changes, including when we add website analytics or advertising measurement. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
