Patients look you up before they call. See exactly what they find.
Google, Maps, AI assistants, reviews, adverts and your website, measured against the practices around you, with advice on every finding.
Rated 4.8 by 212 patients. Found on the high street, lost across Elmsford.
Worked example. Elmsford Dental Studio is not a real practice, and every figure on this page is illustrative.
A patient checks you in a dozen places before they pick up the phone. We check all of them.
The same places, every time, with every finding dated and sourced, so you can check any of it yourself on your own phone.
Ten sections. Each one ends with what we would do about it.
Below is each part of a Footprint Review, built from a worked example. The layout, charts and depth are what you receive. The practice, the town and every figure are illustrative.
Where you stand, on one page, in about a minute.
The review opens with a scorecard across every area in plain words, then the three things we would do first. Green is a strength to protect. Amber works but leaks. Red means a patient looking for you today is likely to end up somewhere else.
4.8 stars from 212 reviews. Protect it: only 6 of the past year’s 58 have a reply.
2nd for “dentist” on your street, 7th on a 3 km map, 16th across Elmsford.
Named in 4 of 16 town-wide answers. Never for implants.
Speed 54 out of 100 on a phone. “Book online” opens a message form.
Eleven live adverts. One should stop today, and eight land on the home page.
A clean CQC inspection. Tracking before consent and one advert to fix.
We read every Google review. Not a sample. All of them.
Your rating and review count against the practices around you, how many reviews arrived each year, how many you answered, and what patients mention most. A reply tells the next reader that someone is listening.
Google review counts from Google Maps on the day of the review. Counts change daily.
Google Maps, measured at three sizes, so the result holds up on your own phone.
Maps ranks practices inside the map you are looking at. One search from one spot can flatter you or bury you. So we search each treatment on three maps centred on your door: your street, the wider area and the whole town. You see exactly where your pull runs out, and what Google has to go on.
| Search | Street1.5 km | Wider3 km | Town6 km |
|---|---|---|---|
| dentist | 2nd | 7th | 16th |
| private dentist | 3rd | 9th | Out |
| dental implants | 4th | 12th | Out |

| emergency dentist | 8th | Out | Out |
| teeth whitening | 1st | 5th | 11th |
| cosmetic dentist | 3rd | 10th | 19th |
Every report states the browser, the map sizes and the date, and that Google also weighs where the searcher is standing.
When a patient asks an AI assistant for a dentist, is yours the name it gives?
We put the same six patient questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Google's AI Mode and Perplexity, in fresh sessions with no history. You see which practices each one names, where you appear, and anything it gets wrong about you.

AI answers vary between runs, so every report treats them as a snapshot on the day, not a ranking.
Your website, tested the way Google tests it, and booked the way a patient would.
Google's own speed and quality checks on a phone, against your neighbours' sites. Every page of your site read, not just the home page: titles, prices, team, how fresh it is. Then the booking journey, step by step, from a search to a confirmed appointment.
Mobile speed against your neighbours
Google PageSpeed Insights, simulated mobile. Scores move a few points between runs, and every report says so.
| Practice | Book online |
|---|---|
| Elmsford Dental Studio | No |
| Market Street Dental | Yes |
| Riverside Dental Care | Yes |
| Northgate Implant Centre | Yes |
The three practices in Google's map box for “private dentist” all take the booking there and then.
Every advert you and your neighbours run, read one by one.
We pull every live and recently stopped advert from Meta's and Google's public ad libraries, for you and the practices around you. For each one we record what it offers, what it claims, where it sends people and how long it has run. An advert that runs for months is usually one its owner believes is working, so how long an advert lasts is the clearest outside signal of what works locally. Every one of your own adverts also gets a compliance read.
Missing teeth? Fixed teeth in a day, from £8,995. Free implant consultation this month only.
Smile brighter this autumn. Anti-wrinkle injections from £149 and whitening from £295.
Thinking about implants? Every consultation includes a free 3D scan and a written plan with the full cost.
Teal: the five adverts that ran two months or more. All five lead with the free implant consultation.
Adverts in the public libraries, past 12 months
Meta Ad Library and Google Ads Transparency Centre, by practice.
R5Our advice
Stop the anti-wrinkle advert today and replace it with one that advertises a consultation, not the medicine. Then send every implant advert to the implant page, with the fee and the clinician on it. Eight of your eleven live adverts land on the home page.
Keep the free consultation. All five of your adverts that ran two months or more lead with it, and so does the longest-running implant advert in Elmsford.
Your prices beside your neighbours', compared fairly.
Published fees for the treatments patients compare most: the new-patient examination, hygiene, implants, Invisalign and whitening. “From” prices are labelled as such, and we never add up items a practice lists separately. Finance offers too, and whether the lender is named.
A compliance read of everything public, before anyone else does one.
Your website, adverts and social pages checked against the rules dental practices answer to. Each item is marked clear, worth reviewing or needs attention, with the reason in plain words and the rule it relates to. It is a check of public information, not legal advice.
Names identify the bodies whose rules we check against. PracticeYield is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
Where everyone is, on the real satellite map.
Every practice in the review pinned on satellite imagery, with rings at the distances patients actually travel, so the competition stops being a list of names.
Imagery: Esri, Maxar, Earthstar GeographicsOn a real review, pins mark the real practices at their Google Maps points. Here the imagery shows an illustrative area and the pins mark no real business.

Every finding ends with advice, written as if we sold nothing.
Each piece of advice carries its impact, the effort involved and who could do it: your own team, development work, a specialist or us. Where your team is the right answer, we say so. The review closes with every recommendation on one page, sorted by what it costs you and what it returns.

Five of the eight could be done by the practice's own team.
Everything above is public. The bigger numbers sit inside your own systems.
Every review closes with the questions it cannot answer from outside. Those questions are where the Growth Audit starts. It builds on your Footprint Review and doesn't repeat it.
How many calls and booking forms arrive each week, how fast they are answered, and how many become appointments.
How many implant and Invisalign consultations turn into accepted treatment.
Which recalls are overdue, and what they are worth.
What each recommendation would be worth in pounds, in your own diary.
Three working days from booking to report, and a walkthrough after.
We need your practice name and five minutes on the intro call about the treatments that matter most to you. No logins, no data, no paperwork.
The report, as a private web page
Every chart, map and finding on one page that reads well on a phone. A private link that search engines are told not to index.
The same report as a PDF
To keep, print or forward to a partner or your practice manager.
A walkthrough call
We go through every finding with you, and make sure the scope of each piece of advice is clear before you act on any of it.
Checked before it reaches you
Every figure is checked against its source in a separate fact-check, and every headline is tested against what you could check on your own phone.
Built to be checked.
- Every finding is dated and sourced, and you can check it on your own phone.
- What we couldn't see is stated in the report, not left out.
- Other practices are described by public facts only, and never contacted.
- Every piece of advice says who could do it, including when that's your own team.
It is paid for. Free marketing audits usually come from the people selling the fix, so they tend to find a need for it. Because you pay for this review, it can tell you that most of the work is a job for your own team.
We measure the way you would check. Google Maps at three map sizes, AI assistants in fresh sessions, speed on a phone. If a headline wouldn't survive you checking it yourself, it doesn't go in.
We never guess what is hidden. No estimates of a competitor's ad spend, patient numbers or income. The public libraries don't show them, so neither do we.
Compliance points are flagged, not ruled on. We tell you what is worth reviewing and why. For a decision, speak to your indemnity provider or a solicitor.
The Footprint Review looks from outside. The Growth Audit looks from inside.
One shows how your practice looks to a stranger. The other shows what your own numbers say, in pounds.

Frequently asked questions
What do you need from us?
Your practice name and address, and five minutes on the intro call about the treatments that matter most to you. No logins, no data, no paperwork.
Will the other practices know we've looked?
No. Everything comes from public pages, the public ad libraries and ordinary searches. We never contact another practice, and the review describes them by public facts only.
Agencies offer free audits. Why pay for this?
A free audit is usually a sales tool for whatever the agency sells. This review is paid for, so it can tell you that most fixes are a job for your own team, and it names who could do each one.
We don't run any adverts. Is that section wasted?
No. It shows what the practices around you are running, what they offer and how long their adverts have lasted, and whether we think you need to advertise at all. Often the answer is not yet.
Can we see a real review before we buy?
Yes. On the intro call we can walk you through a real Footprint Review, shared with that practice's permission. The worked example on this page shows the layout and depth.
What happens after we receive it?
A walkthrough call to go through every finding and make sure the scope of each piece of advice is clear. What you do next is up to you. The advice works with or without us.
Is the compliance section legal advice?
No. It flags what is worth reviewing and the rule it relates to. For a decision, speak to your indemnity provider or a solicitor.
We have more than one practice.
£950 for the first location and £650 for each additional one, because the website, social accounts and adverts are shared. For six or more locations, we quote.
Who sees the report?
You do. It arrives as a private web link that search engines are told not to index, with the date it stays available until printed on it, plus a PDF. We don't publish it or share it.
Ready to see what your patients find?
Twenty minutes with the person who writes the review. If a Footprint Review wouldn't tell you anything new, we'll say so.
